Riding 160km with an ascent of 3,000m is challenging and once you’re on your bike, it’ll be clear why this race is billed as one of South Africa’s toughest. There’s also a 60km race – you’ll still experience the breath-taking scenery of the Gamtoos River Valley, Mondplaas cattle farms and the Kabeljous River Estuary, you just won’t have to cycle as far. There’s also a 25km route suitable for riders over eight-years old.
