Santam BIELIEMIELIEFEES Marathon 2025 42.2 km/21.1 km 6:00 • 10km/5km 6:30 Start / Finish Bowls Club – Sarel Cilliers Street RACE INFORMATION Comrades / Two Oceans Qualifier Start / Finish – Sarel Cilliers Street Temporary licences available @ R75 Medals to all finishers PRIZES Mens/Ladies 42.2km 21.1km 10km 1st R1 500 R1 000 R500 2nd R1 000 R750 R350 3rd R750 R500 R250 Prizegiving will take place after each race division at the start/finish point Event organizer Ebarnie Cilliers – 082 822 8992 / ebarnie@outlook.com Safety officer – Ettiene Bossert Technical officer – Jurinda Swart Race presented in accordance to the IAAF ASA AFS rules RULES 1 Athletes must be ELIGIBLE members of an affiliated club/provincial team to qualify as category winner You do not need to belong to a club to run any of the races Adhere to the undermentioned rule 3 2 Club athletes dressed in club colors must display a year and official ASA 2 license number on the front and at the back at all times on their vest year must be 2025 3 Temporary license numbers to be sold at R75 excluding entry fees to individuals not belonging to a club This is a must for the different races 42.2km 21.1km and 10km excluding the 5km fun run The temporary number must be worn on the front of the vest 4 Age restrictions Minimum age 42.2km – 20years 21.1km – 16years 10km – 16years 5km and less – 9 years and older 5 All marshals traffic authorities and traffic rules must be obeyed Failing to do so may lead to disqualification 6 Check point on route Keep left at all times In case of emergencies report to the next water point 7 Evacuation point will be at the starting and finishing point on the Reitz Bowls Club 8 All walkers and runners participate at their own risk 9 Due to the nature of the course no wheelchairs prams blades animals cyclist or mechanically operated devices are allowed excluding hearing aids 10 No seconding or cars will be allowed on the course as there are sufficient refreshment tables Seconding can only be permitted in the demarcated area of a water point allocated to individuals 11 Cut-off time for 42.2km 21.1km 10km and 5km is 12:00 12 Proof of age must be provided on race day if requested 13 The organizers reserve the right to return any entry not in keeping with the spirit of the race 14 All winners need to attend prize
