- * The route is marked and marshals will assist with direction where possible
- * If you do not have a gps device, do not worry. It is not mandatory to have one. Use the buddy system and ensure to ride with someone who knows the route.
- * At a distance of 200km, the ride departs Pedal & Sprocket in the direction of Broadacres. Just after the N14 a left turn takes there group past Northern Farms and towards Main Road. A scenic ride awaits along Hennops River Road as you head in the direction of Harties. Most of the climbing for the route will present itself in the first half of the ride, but what the first half lacks in flat roads, it more than makes up for in beauty. Take a moment and look around! Once over Saartjiesnek you’ll then take on Zilkaatsnek and the first section of Kommandonek to then say goodbye to most of the climbing for the day. The route will continue north but around the western side of Brits to avoid midday traffic. After passing Roodekoppies Dam, the route heads South West, before turning right onto the familiar R556 to Sun City. Passing Sun City, the route continues for a few kilometres onto Sundown Country Estate.
- * There are no road closures. Riders must adhere to the rules of the road and the marshals directions when given.
