NFNF AR – “The Original” 6th edition.

“The Original”, where NFNF all started.
This annual adventure race has become a must do on the calendar, no matter where it is – it is the greatest adventure!

Kam’Bati River Resort, nestled below the mighty Riviersonderend Mountains and alongside the ever-present Riviersonderend River, is the perfect adventure venue. Additionally, especially considering it is a “long weekend”, it is the perfect spot for families with kids and AR racers keen on an awesome weekend away.

As always, iconic to our races are the route choices, tricky terrain that leaves every participant challenged, yet inspired for more. We promise to show you a beautiful part of the Western Cape with beautiful towering peaks, rivers and gravel roads.

4-6hr – Approx. 30kms. This race is aimed at novice AR’s and families – Winners expected in 4hours

12hr – Approx. 100kms. Beginners and experienced – Winners expected in 10-12hrs.

36hr – Approx. 200kms. Experienced/World champs training – Winners expected 30-36hrs.

Disciplines and percentage distances may vary per race.

Mountain biking = Approx 60-70% of total distance

Trekking/Hiking = Approx 25-35% of total distance

Kayaking = Approx 5-15% of total distance
