Run the North – Northgate Road Race 2024

The starting gun is fired at 07h30. Anybody can enter and everyone is welcome. Limited number of T-Shirts will be available to purchase online only.

Pre entries will close on Sunday 14 July 2024.

You can collect your race number pack on Friday 19 July 2024 from 17h00 to 19h00 and on Saturday 20 July 2024 from 09h00 to 15h00 at entrance 4 of the Northgate shopping centre

Venue
Northgate Shopping Centre, Corner Olievenhout Ave and Northumberland Rd, Northriding. The race starts and ends at Entrance 4. Parking at Entrance 3, 4 and 5.

Fees
The fee for the 10km race is R150.00 per runner and race walkers. Anybody can join, however, if you are not registered to an athletics club, you will be required to pay an additional fee of R60 for a temporary licence.

The fee for the 5km race is R80 per participant. No licences are required for this race, and everybody is welcome to take part. We encourage walkers to join us, too.

Grandmaster entry fee is R50 and R60 for the 10km and 5km respectively.

All fees are excluding online transaction fees.

Medals
All those who complete either race will receive a medal.

T-Shirts
Limited number of T-Shirts will be available for purchase through the online entry system only and no shirts can be purchased with a manual entry.

Prize-giving will be at 09h00

The race is run in accordance with the rules of ASA and CGA. Athletes participating indemnify the national, provincial and regional bodies, sponsors and organisers of the race against all and any actions of whatsoever nature that may arise out of their participation in the race.

The Road Race is organised by the Roodepoort Athletics Club and made possible by Northgate Shopping Centre.
