ARC Irene Run/Walk
No License Required for this race as this is not an ASA or official Irene Athletic Club race.
Open To Non-Club Members
No need to collect race numbers the day before the race. You will receive your race number the morning of the race when you come to register.

Road Run/Walk Online Entry Fee: 3km (R60) | 5km (R100) | 10km (R120) | 15km (R140) | 21km (R160)
Trail Run/Walk Online Entry Fee: 3km (R60) | 5km (R100) | 10km (R120) | 15km (R140) | 21km (R160)
On-The-Day Entry: An additional amount of R30 will be added
Kids Under 13Yrs & Adults Over 60Yrs: Only pay R50 (no additional charge for on-the-day entry)
VENUE:
Irene Athletics Clubhouse which is situated inside the Agricultural Research Centre (ARC) Irene, Nelmapius Drive, Irene, Centurion
(Please use Google Maps for GPS navigation to the venue. It does show that the venue is in Doornkloof, but it is actually situated behind Southdowns, and the navigation is correct)
Please note when you get to the entrance of ARC Irene, the gate will be closed. Just be patient as they will come to open the gate for you. If it takes too long, just hoot.
START TIME:
Registration opens at 06h15
Group start for all distances: 07h00
You can still register and start anytime between 07h00 till 08h00
The cut-off time for all distances is 11am.
For long distance e.g. 15km and 21km the latest time allowed to start is 7am. Only 10km, 5km and 3km will be allowed to start after 7am. And all distances needs to be finished by 11am.

ROUTE INFORMATION:
Walking / Hiking is allowed on the 2km, 5km, 10km and 15km routes.
Water tables will be available on all routes
Please note that the Road option makes use of the roads within the ARC Irene grounds only, and do not go out onto the public roads.
The trail routes are all full distance routes with no loops.
MAKE A DIFFERENCE CAMPAIGN:
You now have the option of taking your medal at the end of the race or to donate the cost of the medal to the Make a Difference Campaign by placing your medal in the campaign box. You can also add any additional donation you want to make to the campaign in the box. The cost of these donated medals and any additional donations received will then be put towards the Make a Difference Campaign fund raiser.
At the end of the year, the total amount saved will be donated to a worthy animal shelter to help make a difference in the lives of these special pets.
