The Pretty in Pink Ladies 5km is more than just a race; it’s a movement dedicated to celebrating the strength, beauty, and resilience of women. With a scenic route along the beachfront, this event offers an opportunity for women of all ages to come together, embrace wellness, and support meaningful causes. By partnering with local non-profit organisations, the Pretty in Pink Ladies 5km is committed to making a tangible difference in the lives of women across the Eastern Cape.

It’s time for the LADIES to shine again.

Every year South Africans celebrate Women’s Month during the month of August to pay tribute to the 20 000 plus women who marched to the Union Buildings on the 9th August 1956 in the protest against the extension of Pass Laws to women.

Pretty in Pink 5km has been established to celebrate all the women in our country and paint our city PINK! Sprint, run, walk, jog, speedwalk we don’t mind as long as you are wearing something pink and a smile on your face!

Because this event is more about comradery and spirit than individualism, it will be a non-timed event. We aren’t out to break records, we’re there to support each other in togetherness.

Join us in what promises to be Nelson Mandela Bay’s LARGEST Women’s Day Celebration.

• Location: Sun Park Amphitheatre, The Boardwalk Mall, Summerstrand, Port Elizabeth
• Distance: 5km
• Exclusive to: Ladies, young and old
• Start Time: 09h00
• Normal Entry Fee: Adults R180 (first 3,000 will receive a t-shirt & goody bag), Girls 10yrs & under R100 (first 300 will receive a kids pack)
• Late Entry Fee: (from 1st August) R250 – Ladies, R150 Girls 10yrs and under (goody bag, t-shirt or kids pack cannot be assured for late entrants)
